Kevin Warner, Founder

Kevin’s mother gave him a set of tools when he was 3 years old, and he’s been building ever since. What began as a hobby became a way to repair, upgrade, and add-on needed space for his growing family, and was also a welcome relaxation from his demanding 25-year career in Silicon Valley managing Fortune 100 initiatives.

As an executive with Cisco Systems responsible for the Cisco Entrepreneur Institute, and Cisco Networking Academies, Kevin developed strategy and implemented startup plans, working with local public and private sector organizations to help communities and nations harness the power of technology and entrepreneurship for global economic and social prosperity.

Kevin brings a high level of integrity and professionalism to Yellow Ribbon Homes, taking full advantage of software and technology in the industry to build beautiful quality homes and remodeling projects, giving back to the community through the creation of jobs, and hiring veterans and veteran owned businesses when possible.

Kevin is skilled in all aspects of residential construction, including design and property development. He enjoys mentoring his employees, empowering them with the skills to be successful in the residential construction industry. He is certified in

A California native, and resident of the San Francisco Bay Area for 50 years, Kevin visits his family there often, and enjoys exploring the Kitsap and Olympic Peninsulas he now calls home.

Kevin and his wife Cathy are proud parents of two daughters: Jennifer is an auditor and Certified Public Accountant in Colorado. Chrislynn, who designed Yellow Ribbon Homes’ Poulsbo waterfront project house, received her Bachelor of Architecture degree in Spring 2016 and works as a building designer in Boston.

INFINITY REAL ESTATE PARTNERSHIP
: Yellow Ribbon Homes has partnered with Jennie Wetter, founder and designated broker at Infinity Real Estate, based in Gig Harbor, to provide contractor services to real estate clients in all phases of the sale and purchase of homes. This includes updates for sellers prior to listing, repairs in response to inspection and appraisal reports, and wish list items for buyers once a home is theirs. Like Yellow Ribbon Homes, Jennie Wetter and her firm places the highest priority on ethics, integrity, and transparency.

As a child, Cathy spent many happy hours touring model homes with her talented mother and grandmother who replicated design ideas in their own homes with do-it-yourself projects. Never quite as crafty as her relatives, Cathy’s interests revolved around her children as they grew, including teaching Sunday school, art appreciation, and hand sewing.

Cathy worked in local government in her early 20s, including a stint on the City of Davis planning commission, and writing public communications materials for the City of Salinas. She completed in MFA in Creative Writing in 2011 shortly before relocating to Washington with her husband where she learned to use power tools as they renovated their home. Cathy hosted a retreat for writers in their Bainbridge Island home.

Cathy’s favorite renovation tasks including reclaiming overgrown gardens and cleaning job sites with her shop vac! Her hobby of online real estate searches led Cathy to become a real estate broker with Infinity Real Estate, LLC in Gig Harbor (the firm the Warners used for all their real estate transactions in Washington) in November 2015. Cathy is a Certified Staging Agent, helping sellers present their homes in the best light possible. She is the dedicated broker for Yellow Ribbon Homes, and can help others find their next right home—fixer-upper or not.

In addition to home renovation and real estate, Cathy is a freelance editor, writing workshop leader, and occasional blogger. Her first book of poetry, Burnt Offerings, was published in 2014. Her website is cathywarner.com. Cathy’s enjoys photography and kayaking.
